One connection, clear directions

  • Clipboard Mac → Android automatic
  • Quick Send Android → Mac one action
  • Files Mac ↔ Android either way
  • Notifications Android → Mac selected apps
Each feature follows the platform boundary instead of hiding it.

The useful four

Four jobs. Each clearly defined.

Each feature does one clear job, follows the limits of both platforms, and tells you what is happening.

  1. Clipboard

A handoff that tells the truth

Copy text on your Mac and it can arrive on Android automatically. Going the other way, Quick Send keeps the action explicit and close at hand.

Mac → Android automatic · Android → Mac Quick Send
  2. Files

Send either way. Pick up where you left off.

Move files and folders in either direction with an explicit send and receive flow. Interrupted transfers resume instead of starting over.

Mac ↔ Android · explicit and resumable
  3. Notifications

Your Android alerts, on your Mac

See selected Android notifications on macOS, with clear phone provenance and controls for what is allowed through.

    Android → Mac only
  4. Diagnostics

An answer when the connection goes quiet

Bogwitch checks the network, permissions, VPNs, firewalls, AP isolation, and Android battery restrictions—then points to what needs attention.

    Connection health in plain language

Local by default

Pair once. Stay direct.

Bogwitch keeps the path between your devices short and the trust decisions visible.

  1. 01 · Pair

    Introduce your devices

Use a QR or short manual code to pair your Mac and Android phone.

  2. 02 · Choose

    Allow what you use

System permissions stay explicit, with per-feature and per-app controls.

  3. 03 · Connect

    Talk over your network

Paired devices communicate directly, without a Bogwitch account or relay.

Private local model

No detour through someone else’s server.

Your clipboard text, files, and notification content travel between your paired devices on the local network. Bogwitch does not need an account or cloud relay to make the connection.

  • Direct trafficDevice to device on your local network
  • Paired identityConnection trust comes from pairing, not discovery
  • Encrypted connectionLocal does not replace authentication or encryption
  • Revocable accessPaired devices remain a decision you control

Diagnostics are a feature

“Not connected” is not an answer.

Bogwitch is designed to explain why a connection is stuck—from system permission state to network isolation and battery restrictions—without making you become the network admin.

  • System accessMissing or paused permissions

Pricing details

Good questions

The details that change the experience.

Does clipboard handoff work in both directions?

Yes, with different actions. Mac to Android can be automatic. Android to Mac uses an explicit Quick Send action because Android limits background clipboard access.

Do Mac notifications appear on Android?

No. Bogwitch mirrors selected Android notifications to Mac. macOS does not provide public access to other apps’ notifications, so the feature is intentionally one-way.

Does Bogwitch work away from my local network?

No cloud relay is part of the product. Your paired devices communicate directly when they can reach each other on the local network.

Does local-only automatically mean secure?

No. Staying local removes a cloud hop, but it is not a security proof. Bogwitch still pairs devices, authenticates their pinned identities, encrypts traffic, and treats discovery as untrusted.

When can I download it?

Bogwitch is not available yet, and there is no announced date or open waitlist. The download page will stay explicit about availability.
