The website today
This is a static marketing website. Bogwitch does not add analytics, advertising trackers, account creation, waitlist forms, or cookies to it.
The site loads Inter and JetBrains Mono from Google Fonts. Google and the future hosting provider may process routine request information such as IP addresses and user agents under their own operational terms.
No waitlist data
Waitlist sign-ups are not open. The update field in the footer does not submit or collect contact details through this site.
The product model
Bogwitch is designed for paired Macs and Android devices to communicate directly over the local network. It does not require a Bogwitch account or cloud relay for clipboard, file, or notification traffic.
Local networking is not presented as a complete security argument. Bogwitch also pairs devices, authenticates the identities pinned during pairing, encrypts traffic, and treats local discovery as untrusted.
Permissions stay explicit
The apps need platform permissions for the features a person chooses to use. Local network, notification, file, camera, and other system authorizations remain separate decisions rather than being treated as implied consent.
